What are these guys up to? Are they trying to sell superchargers for the ?upper crust?.
Strange that they refer to there being a cost difference between the screw and roots compressors, but no mention of how much of a difference. There?s also no mention of the longevity of a roots vs. screw compressor in an automotive under-hood environment. There?s no mention that the screws themselves in the screw compressor will absorb the unwanted heat of compression, nor how that is dealt with and what this screw cooling system involves.
So how much would a screw compressor supercharger for a car cost??? I don?t think my pockets are deep enough.

The lysholm (screw type) blowers are much more expensive... the list price on the SOHC kit from Rimmer Performance is $4495.00... compare that to a JR kit at $2695.00. Now, in all fairness, keep in mind that the RPS kit has an intercooler as well, so you cannot contribute the entire additional cost to the blower only...

Another point: how much additional money would have to be spent to get a JR kit to produce 165 hp to the wheels ???
